This last weekend we went to the Big Swell Rap showcase hosted by WVS and Complex AU at the Oxford Art Factory (Sydney). The night was mad lit with a huge line up of local rappers. The stand outs acts we loved were I.E, Miles Glyphers, and the high energy from Kwasi and HNFR's set.
Its very exciting to see the new rap wave/scene thats coming up in Australia. Really want to see alot of these talented dudes blowing up on an international scale.
Besides for all the live music we had over the weekend, we've been listening to some fresh new albums. Jay-Z blessed the world with latest album 4:44. As per usual, Hov killed it in his braggadocio storytelling but still remains classy and insipring.

Calvin Harris also dropped his Funky Wav Bounces Vol 1. This album is mad chill and groovy with a heap of big names, Migos, Big Sean, Frank Ocean, Future and Travis Scott (just to name a few).
Lastly was Travy P, another rapper who killed it at at Big Swell, released his POINT EP. I gotta say this goes hard.
